Why NASA?
We help ships pass their arrival inspections, ensuring that they stay on-hire. If they do not pass then we will use our local connections to clean the vessel in the most economical way. We also help make sure that you have the most recent guidance regarding US Coast Guard, Customs & Border Protection, and environmental requirements.
We help ships to avoid being detained by Port State Control, ensuring that the vessel stays on-hire and the shipowner continues to make money. We will attend the inspection so that we can rectify deficiencies immediately and avoid/minimize time spent off-hire.
We assist owners with standard routine tasks, ensuring that the process goes smoothly and efficiently. Services include but are not limited to: cash to master, crew changes, and spare parts delivery.
We monitor every aspect of the ship's activities in order to ensure that charterer's costs do not get pushed on to the shipowner. We also make sure that discounts belonging to the shipowner are actually received by the shipowner. In the absence of an OPA, overcharging is common and quality gets sacrificed.
We will operate the vessel and take care of all the necessary tasks to ensure a smooth and uneventful call to the area.
We will do our best to lower the operator's port costs by negotiating the dockage & labor overtime fee with the elevator and assist the master to create the most economical & efficient stow plan.
